Small Packages to Ship via UPS SurePost

Friday, June 08, 2012

Starting Monday, June 11 Synergy will begin shipping small packages, weighing 9 pounds or less, via UPS SurePost within the United States.

What Does This Mean?

While shipping times may fluctuate by one business day, utilizing UPS SurePost will now facilitate Saturday deliveries to residential addresses – a previous option not available through UPS ground.

We consider this a huge benefit as we understand the frustrations of having to wait an entire weekend before your package can be delivered.

How it Works

The entire shipping process will remain the same up until the point of delivery. UPS will be in charge of getting the package to your area, however, at this point they will then turn over the package to the local USPS office. USPS will then be responsible for delivering the package to your residential address.

UPS has arranged for all USPS package scanning and delivery statuses to be uploaded to their system. So, even if your package is delivered through USPS, the tracking information will still be available with the same UPS tracking number and through the UPS website.

In addition, utilizing this new shipping method for small packages will also allow PO Box and Military APO/FPO deliveries throughout the United States.

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard.
