5 Star Legacy Foundation Vietnam Project

Dear Friends,

As we are already nearing the end of the second month of the new year (time really flies!), I wanted to give you another update and let you know some of the things we are and will be doing this year with 5 Star Legacy Foundation.

I will be traveling back to Vietnam at the end of this month to do a 5 Star Legacy activity. We are looking for immediate donations to help support this trip directly. You can click here to donate but I will talk more about that in a minute. First, let me thank you for all your great support over the past few years. We have literally impacted thousands of kid’s lives throughout the world and our reach, thanks to each of you, is expanding all the time!

2011 was a very impactful year as we worked with and supported numerous causes. We continued to provide much needed resources to the orphanages in Vina Del Mar, Chile, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Surabaya, Manado and Jakarta, Indonesia. We also “adopted” two new orphanages in Makassar, Indonesia where we provided thousands of pounds of food, water, school materials and other much needed items for these very grateful kids. (click here to see pictures) Even when we don’t speak the same language, it is so easy to see the gratitude and even disbelief when they receive these items. What a great blessing to have the opportunity to impact these lives!

Towards the end of last year we had some very significant events happen. Dan Higginson, Founder of Synergy Worldwide and great supporter of 5 Star Legacy Foundation has been very involved with supporting the Navajo Nation including the Wildcat Christian Academy located just outside of Gallup, New Mexico. 5 Star got involved a few years ago and together this year was we made donations specifically for much needed items. They are very grateful for the continued support that Dan and 5 Star Legacy Foundation has offered.

Early last year, 5 Star Legacy Foundation was selected by the Brigham Young University Baseball team to work with them in finding service projects in the Dominican Republic for their trip over last Thanksgiving. It was a very memorable event. Click here to read about the trip.

In August, we traveled to Nha Trang, Vietnam and with 4 doctors, 8 nurses, 3 pharmacists and a supply of medication, were able to give over 600 less fortunate people from the provinces a medical check-up and for some, much needed medication. And thanks to Synergy Worldwide, we also donated over 1,000 bottles of their top selling nutritional supplements. We also were able to provide numerous operations to people that have had glaucoma or other eye issues. It was fantastic and again, because of your great involvement and donations, it was possible for us to do this. (Click here to view pictures of the event).

We have another project coming up quickly and are looking for your assistance. At the end of this month I will be making a return trip to Vietnam. I will be visiting the city of Danang. Because of the impact we had in Nha Trang on our last trip, our 5 Star Legacy Foundation representatives in Vietnam requested that we do the same type of event in Danang. So for this trip, we will again be bringing in doctors, nurses, pharmacists as well as medicine and Synergy product.

I wanted to ask anyone who is able to donate towards this event in Danang to please do so. 100% of your donation will go toward these items and this event. We will make it another very impactful day and will be sure to keep you updated!

Again, I can’t stress how important and impactful your support is to thousands of people all over the world! Thank you for your continued support. It is amazing how much you have done.

 Sincerely,

 Mark Comer
