Karate World Champion Gains Competitive Edge with Synergy Products

Wednesday, August 26, 2015

Cathy McAleer is one tough woman, both mentally and physically, and is an elite athlete in mixed martial arts. Her schedule is booked with all things karate, from training herself and other karate champions to playing crucial roles in the operations of karate businesses throughout Ireland.

She is the Founder of NIKA (Northern Ireland Karate Academy) and runs two clubs in Queens Leisure Complex Holywood and Stormont Pavilion where she helps train a number of World, European, British and Irish champions. However, neither of these responsibilities are her full-time job. She works day-to-day as a general manager of one of Northern Ireland’s Virgin Active Health Clubs. In addition to being certified in sports massage therapy, Cathy has a bachelor’s degree in sports marketing.

  • World WKC Kata Champion 2014
  • World Kumite Karate Champion 2014
  • WKC Silver Medalist 2014
  • WKN European Full Contact Kickboxing Champion 2014
  • WKN Draw for K1 World Champion 2014
  • Undefeated Northern Ireland champion for 10 consecutive years
  • 3rd Dan Karate Instructor and national coach for Northern Ireland

"Many people ask me how I fit it all in and also have the energy to compete and train,” Cathy said. “Synergy’s range of products has made a big difference."

Cathy began using the V3 System in June 2014 and found tremendous benefits after only three weeks. Her training regimen is intense and can do a lot of damage to her body, but Synergy products allow her to rain more regularly with excellent recovery. She was able to push herself to increase her runs from 3 miles to 6 miles, though she isn’t an avid runner.

All of Cathy’s associations in Ireland’s athletic scene have certainly helped her obtain an impressive customer volume by sharing Synergy products.

Cathy’s next competitive fight will be at the World Open Martial Arts Games in Geneva in September where she will compete in kickboxing.

“A goal of mine is to have two world titles in two different sports, and on September 13 that dream will hopefully come true,” Cathy said. “Each of Synergy’s products contributes to my success in different ways. Thank you so much Synergy for your world class products!”

We wish you the best of luck Cathy and are proud that you are part of the Synergy family!

Elite Honors Spotlight: Nate Fowers

Tuesday, August 25, 2015

The second month to qualify for Elite Honors came to an impressive close and dozens of names were added to the Elite Honors Club qualifiers list! A handful of Team Members qualified for the second month in a row. In addition, a number of qualifiers are going even further by maintaining and surpassing their highest pin titles to earn the Go Elite Promotion.

Nate Fowers, a Team Manager from Utah, was one of the few Elite Honors qualifiers who received the highest Go Elite bonus of $750 for maintaining his highest title the same month he achieved Elite Honors, increasing his total commissions by more than 30%. He attributes much of his success to his mentor Brent Burnett who walked him through exactly what he needed to do to obtain this incredible bonus.

“I wanted to achieve Elite Honors since I first heard about it, but it definitely took a fair amount of effort on my part, but my team alleviated a lot of the work. When you truly work as a team toward your goals, whether it’s to be Elite Honors qualified or something else, the load will become much lighter. Anything is possible when there are a group of people who are all aiming to achieve the same thing. I could have never earned the Go Elite bonus on my own.

I am really hoping to earn this bonus again while it’s available. It’s a great motivation to work harder, and as I work harder I set the right example for my downline. We are teaching everyone to be Elite Honors qualified if they want to build their businesses correctly and quickly. It’s nice to have guidelines to follow when you share the financial potential that is possible with Synergy.”

Elite Honors Spotlight: Pamela & Terry Stovall

Friday, August 21, 2015

The second month to qualify for Elite Honors came to an impressive close and dozens of names were added to the Elite Honors Club qualifiers list! A handful of Team Members qualified for the second month in a row. In addition, a number of qualifiers are going even further by maintaining and surpassing their highest pin titles to earn the Go Elite Promotion.

Pamela & Terry Stovall, Silvers from New Mexico, have been with Synergy WordWide for four years, but stayed with company to enjoy the product benefits rather than take advantage of the business opportunity. The launch of Elite Honors was just what they needed to spark their interest in working the Synergy business. Terry said his upline’s enthusiasm for Elite Honors is what ignited his spark. Since engaging in the business, Pamela and Terry realized just how many people out there can benefit from what Synergy has to offer.

“They are so many people looking for an opportunity that will change their life, and I had no idea these people existed. I met many of these people over the last two months and they have become customers and distributors who are excited about Elite Honors. First, these customers and distributors realized that through Elite Honors they can make good money. Second, they knew the products were even more amazing than they initially realized. And third, they realized that $300 per month is just the beginning of what they can earn each month. It was exciting for them to know
that they could earn $600, then $900 and beyond. This was key to their excitement. They realized Synergy is different than other companies and could make a difference in their lives.

The excitement around Elite Honors continues to build when we get together in meetings. There is a lot of excitement in these meetings about Synergy in general. When others realize this explosion of enthusiasm they will be drawn to it.

Go Elite is a great incentive for me. I earned it in June, but didn’t quite make it in July. I’ve decided that in August I will rise to the level of success I had in June. Everyone wants to raise the bar on themselves and when you meet the Elite Honors level you want to do it again and again. This keeps the business alive and thriving.”

5 Core Vitamins Every Woman Should Have in Her Diet

Thursday, August 20, 2015

Have you ever found yourself asking, “Do I really need supplements? If so, which ones do I need?” With so many vitamins and minerals to choose from, you may feel overwhelmed with which vitamins and minerals you should take.

When first choosing a supplement, you’ll need to decide between a vegetarian or a gelatin capsule. Vegetarian capsules are plant based while gelatin capsules contain animal byproducts. Gelatin capsules are said to be better for your joints, but in the end, it’s just a matter of personal preference.

Here are five core vitamins you should consider including in your diet:

Multivitamin. A multivitamin is an excellent way to ensure you are getting all your nutrients as it’s designed to fill in nutritional gaps. When deciding what multivitamin to take, pick one that is high quality and has a high potency.

Calcium. This mineral is important for building strong bones, teeth, and gums. Most of the time you will find combination Cal/Mag/Zinc (Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc) supplements, which are great for added nutrients. Speak with your doctor to know which calcium supplement is the best option for you.

Omega-3 Fatty Acid. Considered “good” fats, omega-3s have a number of health benefits. Fish oil, salmon, flaxseed, and flaxseed oil, are excellent sources of omega-3 fatty acids.

Magnesium. While this mineral is usually overlooked, Magnesium is an important mineral to add to your diet, helping to turn calories into energy. To learn more about the benefits associated with magnesium, read The Magnesium Miracle by Carolyn Dean, MD, ND.

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid). This vitamin is assists in tissue growth and repair, enhances immunity, and increases iron absorption. When choosing a Vitamin C supplement, avoid chewables since they can damage tooth enamel.

Take steps today to increase your body’s longevity by incorporating a healthy diet, regular exercise, and high-quality supplements into your day-to-day routine.

Elite Honors Spotlight: Donald Clarke

Tuesday, August 18, 2015

The second month to qualify for Elite Honors came to an impressive close and dozens of names were added to the Elite Honors Club qualifiers list! A handful of Team Members qualified for the second month in a row. In addition, a number of qualifiers are going even further by maintaining and surpassing their highest pin titles to earn the Go Elite promotion.

Donald Clarke, a Bronze from New York, is a real estate agent that put his career on hold to give all of his time to his Synergy business. At 67 years old, Donald saw Synergy as an opportunity to Leave a Legacy and earn an additional income to supplement his retirement. Dan Hammer introduced Donald to Synergy and ever since their meeting they have both been working diligently to organize the New York team. While in New York, Dan taught the Elite Honors concept to a group of eager distributors who are causing change through Elite Honors with Donald at the helm.

“Once we realized what we possessed with the Elite Honors system we were hell-bent on getting as many people as possible in the New York area to be Elite Honors qualified. If I train others to be Elite Honors qualified it will impact me greatly. I immediately saw the benefits of teaching this system to others. I got to see someone in my organization become Elite Honors qualified twice with a rank advancement. No doubt, Elite Honors is an awesome way to market the business and help others help others. My team is seeing the benefits and I look forward to helping more to become Elite Honors qualified this month, next month, and so on.”

Elite Honors Spotlight: Lee Edwards

Friday, August 14, 2015

The second month to qualify for Elite Honors came to an impressive close and dozens of names were added to the Elite Honors Club qualifiers list! A handful of Team Members qualified for the second month in a row. In addition, a number of qualifiers are going even further by maintaining and surpassing their highest pin titles to earn the Go Elite Promotion.

Lee Edwards, a Team Director from Utah, was one of the few Synergy leaders who were introduced to Elite Honors during the program's prelaunch phase in May 2015. As a leader, he was challenged to achieve the Elite Honors title. He not only achieved the title in May, he achieved it again in June and July. In addition to following the Elite Honors principles himself, he is teaching all new distributors and existing distributors in his downline to make a goal every month to become Elite Honors qualified in order to kickstart and grow their own business quickly.

"Elite Honors is easy for me. The program gives me clearly cut, detailed instructions so that I know exactly what I need to do every month. I need at least 650 CV on my TC 1 and at least 200 CV in distributor enrollments. I love this, because I'm a goal-oriented person. I know what I need to do on a monthly basis and I make sure I'm accomplishing what I need to. I just keep chugging along until it's done.

What I really love is that as long as I continue doing this behavior it will continue to pay off. Nothing in this business needs to be sporadic. There is no more guessing how to make money in this business. In my three months with Elite Honors I have no only seen my business grow, I've seen people in my organization learning the correct behaviors and that's even more exciting for me. If getting 500 CV in customer volume feels intimidating, learn to forget yourself and care about others. Using the Elite Health program you will always meet the customer's needs and you'll find that getting 500 CV is easy. You will never be a pushy salesman. You are simply asking how you can improve someone's life.

I love that all the leaders are now teaching the same principles. If someone on my team went to Presidential Executive Dane Iorg and asked him how to build their business, he will going to tell them the same things I have. I really appreciate that unity."

Elite Honors Spotlight: Tammy Hester

Thursday, August 06, 2015

The second month to qualify for Elite Honors has come to an impressive close and dozens of names have been added to the Elite Honors Club qualifiers list! A handful  of Team Members qualified for the second month in a row. In addition, a number of qualifiers are going even further by maintaining and surpassing their highest pin titles to earn the Go Elite Promotion.

Tammy Hester, a Star from Florida, joined Synergy WorldWide in 2013 after losing her husband of 8 years—they had been together for a total of 30 years and his absence took a toll on her both emotionally and physically. Though she ordered the product regularly, she couldn’t commit to the business right away as she mended from her terrible loss. One and a half years after she signed up as a Synergy distributor, Tammy decided she needed to establish structure in her life and find something she could be passionate about, which is why she decided to do something with her Synergy business. She noticed her confidence increasing as she began striking up conversations about ProArgi-9+ in grocery stores, and sharing her passion for Synergy in airports. Tammy is one in a group of hardworking Team Members who qualified for Elite Honors Club and the Go Elite Promotion two months in a row.

“I’m proving that you don’t have to go into this business knowing anyone. You simply need to know how to strike up a conversation. Find an icebreaker. Always talk about the 120-day money-back guarantee. The product will sell itself. Elite Honors teaches that customer volume is an important part of the business and I believe profiling your contacts as distributors or customers is important. It’s OK to sign up a lot of people as customers, because those people usually build a belief in the product and become the devoted distributors.

To those wanting to become Elite Honors qualified, keep on keeping on. Just have patience and it will all eventually come full circle. Don’t get discouraged if a month goes by and you haven’t signed up a new distributor. Focus on keeping your customers. Also, you should always stay plugged in. Stay connected to the company because the more you listen to Synergy leaders, the more confidence you will have to go toe-to-toe with people you don’t know. Many people will say they aren’t good enough to accomplish a certain goal. If you are one of these people, you have to question why you believe it and then defeat that thought. Everyone is capable of achieving their dreams. I like what Henry Ford once said: ‘Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right!’ So believe in yourself! That’s the first step to becoming successful. Don’t beat yourself up if you don’t get 500 CV in customer volume every month, because the important thing is that you are changing lives, and that’s huge!”

IAM Cycling Finishes Tour de France in Top 10

Wednesday, August 05, 2015

Exhausted yet determined, IAM Cycling’s Mathias Frank battled downpours and slick pavement to climb his way to 8th place in the overall classification after the final push on Les Champs-Elysées in Paris. Mathias was the first Swiss rider since 1999 to earn a spot in the Top 10.  While Mathias’s ranking was the biggest victory for IAM Cycling, the team was able to take 9th place overall, which was a solid placement for this new team.

IAM Cycling Founder Michel Thétaz said: “We achieved the goal we set early on in this season, which we reiterated at the start of the race. My group of riders showed themselves to be strong and at the front often, which was topped with a fantastic 3rd place from Pantano in Gap and a 6th place in the team time trial. The guys have really applied themselves and worked hard to help Frank earn his 8th place in the overall. We will come back in 2016 with Mathias Frank to return to the Top 10, and win some stages. As our leader, Frank, has extended his contract, and we are confident that he will live up to all our expectations.”

“I have not regretted one second of every sacrifice I have made to get here,” Mathias said. “After two failed attempts, I managed to meet the challenge and finish in the top-10.  This is a great accomplishment for the whole team who was a huge help to me and believed in me. I am not about to forget these moments of emotion once I climb off my bike.”

Synergy is proud to have provided world-class products to aid IAM Cycling’s performance and recovery support throughout the Tour de France. Congratulations, Team IAM Cycling! We look forward to watching continued victories in the World Tour and in next year’s Tour de France.
