Dan Higginson: A Call for Emergency Relief

Monday, March 14, 2011

Dear Synergy Team Members:

All of you are likely aware of the tragic events that have transpired in Japan this past weekend. A devastating earthquake, followed by a large tsunami has seriously impacted the region and left many of the coastal communities under water.

We are deeply concerned for the many wonderful people of Japan that have been affected by this natural disaster. This tragedy has led to hundreds of lost lives, thousands forced from their homes, and a country now faced with recovering from this tragic turmoil.

As many of you know, Japan has a special place in our hearts. It was 12 years ago when we launched Synergy WorldWide in Japan with the mission to leave a legacy for good throughout the world. It was our beloved Team Members in Japan who pioneered the way for Synergy to become who we are today. It is because of them that we are able to bless the lives of thousands across the globe.

In an effort to show our love to our Synergy Japan family and help the wonderful people of Japan, Synergy WorldWide invites all who are able to make donations to Five Star Legacy Foundation. 100% of donated funds will be used to coordinate and supply food, materials, and emergency relief to this devastated area.

Donations can be given through this link: http://www.5starlegacyfoundation.org/

Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with the people of Japan as they mourn the loss of loved ones and recover from this tragedy.

Sincerely,

Dan Higginson

  1. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Synergy team members/family of Japan. Your courageousness and fortitude will shine through this difficult time; the losses of life, and all family possessions/structure will not stop your spirit to rebuild and grow. We love you all and are saddened by this tragedy, and look to your example to remain strong... This is 100% necessary in this troubling time, your strength through unity will rise you up once again.

I see on CNN a Japanese woman going back to where her home was in Sendai, but there is absolutely nothing. She finds a photo covered with mud-it is of family members. She cries and I cry with her. She has only the clothes on her back and nothing more. I hope we can help these people rebuild their lives, their homes and their hopes.

I tried to make a donation to Japan, but got only info on helping a child. I already sponsor a child in the Dominican Republic, so I wish to send 100 dollars to Japan. Their plight has touched my heart
    Thanks,
    Gabrielle
